The 3Xtrim Aircraft Factory, established in 1996 by Adam Kurbiel, a former SZD sailplane engineer, is located in the town of Bielsko-Biała, in southern Poland. Aslso know as Zakłady Lotnicze 3Xtrim Sp.z o.o.in Polish, it origanly went by the name Wytwórnia i Naprawa Konstrukcji Lekkich - A. Kurbiel. Since it's birth, 3Xtrim has mainly concentrated on the design and production of the 3X55 and 3X47 ultralight aircraft.
